Mr. Geunho Lee and Prof. Il-Chul Moon presented a research in the domain of disaster command and control structure modeling and simulation at the venue of SpringSim 2012. This work is jointly done by Prof. Namkyung Oh at University of Akron. The work is published in the Emerging M&S Applications in Industry and Application Symposium track, and they received the best paper award. The topic of the research is adapting the network centric warfare concept developed in the military to the domain of the disaster management, so that they invented a measurement of effectiveness of the relief organizations.
