Abstract

Happy New Year 2012 to all our readers! As discussed in the recent issues, with the new volume of the SCS Magazines a new crew is taking over. The three responsible persons are Andreas Tolk, Professor for Engineering Management and Systems Engineering at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia, Francesco Longo, Assistant Professor and Director of the Modeling & Simulation Center, Laboratory of Enterprise Solutions at the University of Calabria, Italy, and Il-Chul Moon, Assistant Professor at Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering of KAIST in Daejeo, Korea. While Andreas Tolk and Francesco Longo share the responsibilities of Editors-in-Chief, IlChul Moon joins them as local coordinator for the Asian-Pacific domain. The long perspective is to identify local coordinators that recruit papers and are responsible for contributions of all five continents to emphasize the international character of the SCS Magazine.
